9' PU Attachment

Maize Corporation 9' PU attachment is manufactured for Deere® 3960-3975 pulltype forage harvesters. It will attach just as the OEM 7'. Power is transmitted through a heavy duty clutch to 1-3/4" thick gears on a 1-1/4" hex shaft. The reel is a proven double cam track system with bearing support in the center. The width is 8-1/2 feet from outside tooth to outside tooth. The auger is supported at each end with a tortion tube making the auger stay level and to feed your windrow more evenly.

Shaft for cutterhead:
We at Maize Corporation now offer a replacement shaft for your cutter head. When the special tapered spline fails on your cutter head shaft, replace the shaft with our shaft. We put a straight spline on the coupling chain sprocket end and a straight round keyed shaft on the pulley or sheave end. The Maize Corporation shaft has a larger diameter in the area that weltds to the cutter head end plates. This allows you to cut the old shaft out and still have enough material to machine a tight fit for the new shaft. We will give you a print along with the shaft to take to your machine shop. The cutter head will need to be balanced after shaft installation. You will need the following parts: (1) 43857MC shaft, (1) 45916M coupling sprocket, (1) 62529M, 9-3/8" sheave or (1) 62530M, 11" sheave and (1) 62528M hub.

The bolt in 3/16" stainless steel wear plate mounts on the inside of your blower with two bolts. It covers and prevents wear to the main frame and the bottom edge of the outside sheet. The 1/4" alloy wrappers outlast all others. Maize wrappers are the heaviest wrappers on the market. The replacement stainless steel pan under the cutter head bolts in over the OEM weld in pan as it wears out.

The special 1/4" heat treated paddle has both sides and lower 1-1/2" formed upward to catch material and move it out of the blower at a higher velocity. These paddles will blow the toughest feed to the back of the wagon.
